Seventh Generation (2014-2019)

The C6 generation of Corvettes were the best performing Corvettes so far. Surpassing all expectations and elevating the American Sports Car to supercar status. Once again the Chevrolet engineers set out to produce a Corvette better than the previous generation of Corvettes. It could only get better with the C7 Corvettes, and you can bet they did not disappoint.


Iconic Stingray Corvette Returns

The iconic Stingray name returned in the 2014 Corvette, after over three decades of absence. The 2014 Stingray Corvette saw some new changes in design. Featuring an all-aluminum structure, with carbon fiber used for the hood and roof, and fiberglass for doors, fenders and rear panels. The Corvette is powered by a 6.2 liter LT1, V8 engine with a rating of 450hp. A six-speed automatic or seven-speed Tremec manual transmission are available options of the Corvette. The 2014 Corvette received notable awards from Automobile Magazine as Automobile of the Year 2014 and Car of the Year honors at the Detroit auto show.


2015 Z06 Corvettes

The 2015 Corvette Z06 and the racing version C7.R were the highlights of the 2015 model year. The 2015 Corvette Z06 is available in coupe and convertible models and runs on the LT4 supercharged 6.2L aluminum V8 engine with an incredible output of 650 hp and 650 lb ft of torque. A Tremec seven-speed manual or Hydra-Matic 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters are available transmission options for the Corvette Z06. The C7.R which is basically a modified racing version of the 2015 Corvette Z06 is powered by a 5.5-litre LS7.R engine rated at 491hp.


A 2016 Corvette Stingray and Z06 were available for the 2016 model years. Available in both Coupe and Convertible models, new designs were available to give the cars a fresh look. These included the replacement of exterior colors Velocity Yellow and Crystal Red from the previous model year with Corvette Racing Yellow and Long Beach Red Metallic. The Chevrolet Stingray features a small-block, 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 with 455hp and 460 pound-feet of torque. Also available for the Corvette Stingray is a Z51 performance package. The Z06 remains unchanged from the previous model year.


The Grand Sport returns for the 2017 model year along with the Z06 and Stingray with

 all models available as either Coupe or Convertible. The Engine remains unchanged on the Z06 as well as the Grand Sport and Stingray which both run on the 6.2-liter LT1 V-8 engine from the previous year. The Z07 Performance Package featuring carbon ceramic brakes, modified suspension, and wider rugged tires are available for the Z06 and Grand Sport while the Z51 package is offered for the Stingray.


2018 marks 65 years of Corvette production and the Carbon 65 Edition which is limited to just 650 vehicles globally and featuring Ceramic Matrix Grey paintwork and extensive carbon fiber bodywork on the interior and exterior is the special edition for the 2018 model year. The Stingray, Grand Sport, and Z06 are also available with the same engines from the 2017 model year. All 2018 models are offered in Coupe and Convertible models.


The C7 models carry on Corvette's tradition of excellence. After 65 years of producing some of the finest cars in history, the Corvette brand still maintains its place as the best value for money production car.
